Running/Jogging for beginners...

Post by icemint on Wed Feb 08, 2012 9:22 am

Meron ba ditong nag-jo-jog or tumatakbo?

Ano ba ang mga dapat gawin ng mga beginners para macondition ang katawan before tumakbo or mag-jog?

Ilang kilometers at minutes ba lang dapat pag bago?

Anong magandang sapatos?

Thanks for the link Val.

Mga one month before the scheduled run ay nag pa practice na ako yun lang hope that this help Wink

in my experience, kelangan talga mga 20-30 mins of stretching..

nagstart naman ako sa mga marathon ng 5k. ang ideal time for 5k is 30-40 mins.. pero syempre baguhan pa lang ako.. umabot ako ng 40mins. which is good for first timers.

tuloy tuloy lang yan.. pra hindi agad mapagod.. wag gumamit ng headphones or any music sa pagtakbo.. dapat focus lang yung utak mo sa 1,2,3,4 na counting.... tiyakk kahit 10k run pa yan... matatapos mo..

Thank you Jericho and Mokong!

I've read in one article that walking is already a form of warm-up excercise (I just forgot the title). Idea

Warm-up is recommended before you do any kind of physical exercises as per my physical instructor, and that includes jogging/running to increase temperature in muscles and joints and to increase blood flow too, It will make you run more comfortably without giving you any "cracky bones" feeling, and it reduces the risk of injury as well.

So my suggestion is to slowly walk first before you run.

I have never tried to participate any walkaton or marathon myself, but I do jog sometimes in UP.  Laughing  Laughing   I can do upto 5 lapses in 30-45 minutes. As for the shoes, Any running shoes will do. I am using Adidas ang gaan panakbo.

Be sure to cool down as well after the intense running.  bounce

Share kayo guys kapag may walkaton event na alam nyo pwede sumali. haha
